PhiBrows Microblading Shading PowderBrows OmbréBrows Removal

Microblading – also known as microstroking, eyebrow embroidery, 3D eyebrow  and feathering/feather-touch brows – is a form of semi-permanent cosmetic tattooing to enhance the shape and definition of existing eyebrows. It can be also used to successfully replace eyebrows in cases where they are no longer present as a result of hair loss due to alopecia or chemotherapy.

CutiQT PhiBrows is a highly skilled technique for microblading, where the eyebrows are drawn in delicate strokes by hand, using an extremely fine blade (instead of a machine such as used in regular tattooing). The PhiBrows procedure uses the golden ratio, phi, to help determine the optimum shape and size for the eyebrows. Great care is taken to follow and match the colour, thickness and shape of the natural eyebrow hairs to achieve amazing results – that’s why qualified PhiBrows techinicians are called artists!

The treatment will always take place over 2 different sessions. During the initial session, the eyebrow shape will be designed according to the size and shape of the face and relative positions of eyes and nose, then the suitable pigment to match the skin type and complexion will be chosen, and finally the eyebrows will be drawn on. This process will usually take between 2 and 3 hours. Because the strokes are made only into the upper layers of the skin, far less deep than regular tattooing, it is significantly less painful, feeling like only gentle scratching on the skin and, if requested, anesthetic cream can be applied during the procedure to remove all feelings of pain altogether.

After the treatment, what to expect in the different stages over the next few weeks will be explained, and clear instructions will be given on how to care for the new brows, as the quality of the end result depends significantly on how they are looked after following the initial treatment.

After 4-8 weeks, there will be a complimentary “perfection” touch-up session, as between  30% and 50% of the strokes drawn will naturally disappear or fade significantly. The pigments used in the procedure are implanted and infused into the upper layer of the skin/dermis and so will fade over time compared to a regular tattoo. To maintain the colour and definition of microbladed eyebrows, touch-up sessions are recommended to be scheduled every 12 to 18 months, but possibly more regularly depending on skin type and lifestyle.
